Underrated aspect of FFT IC localization is how it differentiates the highborn and lowborn with the way they speak. Hearing their accents and vocab, there's a lot of subtle touches that made it easy to tell where they're from.
I heard about the script changes and new voice acting for the FF Tactics Remaster, but holy shit hearing is actually believing

Man, the worst part of buying FFXVI is it's gonna be a huge mistake to play this right after Tactics lol. Even around release I felt the script not being as polished for the localization
I think I'll replay XII first. Story is definitely not amazing but I think the script/localization is fantastic.
