Trip to Worthing today involved going via Barnham as Brighton line closed. Nice views of Arundel from the train and lots of nesting rooks at Barnham station.

When staying in Bordeaux this summer we did a trip along to Arcachon, a very pleasant coastal town. This train was a regional one, but seeing fast TGV services from there direct to Paris got me thinking about how quickly we could do the trip to the UK by train instead of flying. #transport
