Interesting that 95 Democrats voted to honor "the life and legacy" of the man who said this:
“The Democrat Party supports everything that God hates. . . . Again, everything Democrats love, God hates. If you’re a Christian that votes for the Democrat Party, you are voting for things that God hates.”

We should not celebrate the assassination of Kirk or anyone, but we shouldn't hide the facts, either. Kirk welcomed dissenting voices at his public debates, but he worked sedulously to identify silence those same voices through his organization. www.nytimes.com/2025/09/13/o...

Rich for the guy who just threatened Chipocalypse Now on a Democratic city to blame Democrats for raising the temperature in the room. Dangerous times, but Americans are fed up with a fascist minority--the MAGA cult--running roughshod over liberty, democracy, and the rule of law.

Easy to laugh at the sheer buffoonery of Kim Jong Trump and his shameless sycophants, but if he succeeds in placing brownnosers, Witkoffs, and Lutnickers atop every level of America's judicial and enforcement agencies, you'll all be bowing and scraping, or else.

Trump's and the GOP's hypocrisy is old hat by now, but we should keep pointing it out: Per ProPublica, three Trump cabinet members--Sean Duffy, Lori Chavez-DeRemer, and Lee Zeldin--have mortgages like Fed Gov Cook's. Add TX AG Ken Paxton. Pulte, where are their criminal referrals?

Pritzker: "When did we become a country where it's ok for the US president to insist on national television that a state should call him to beg for anything? Especially something we don't want. Have we truly lost all sense of sanity in this nation that we treat this as normal?"

Notice that DJT, who fumes incessantly about any who have crossed him, never mentions Thomas Crooks! And since at least September 2024, no evidence of injury! Try asking ChatGPT the likelihood of an “ear struck, even superficially, by an AR-15 rifle healing with no trace of injury.” Fun answer!

Based on the best data I or ChatGPT could locate, these charts represent the top 10 ten cities (2024) and top 10 states (2023) in homicide per 100K population in the US of A. See a lot of red states and cities in red states, but don't hear anything about Trump sending troops to them!

Let me get this straight. Maga is energized--"So Back!!!"--because a major paper published evidence of Trump's close relationship with party bro Epstein, thus proving he wasn't Epstein's party bro after all? MAGA-faith is pure Huck Finn: “faith is believing something you know ain't true.”

Despicable to point fingers, place blame, and politicize the Texas floods. California wildfires? Not so much.

Trump learns that voters for the Face-Eating Leopard Party don't want the leopard to eat THEIR faces: "farmers and people in the Hotel and Leisure business have been stating that our very aggressive policy on immigration is taking very good, long time workers away from them . . . .”

Bait and switch much? Trump terrified his gullible base with horror stories of violent killers he would arrest and deport. What we actually see are tactics the feds might adopt if those WERE the targets being used to round up menial laborers, mothers with children, and, yes, children!

"[A]s of May, Republican-appointed district judges ruled against Trump 72 percent of the time." Trump v. Democratic-appointed judges? About the same: 80%.

That tends to happen when you do illegal shit, and do it in a heedless, slapdash way.

Trump erupting at the Federalist Society tells us everything we already knew—Trump doesn’t want any judge, no matter how conservative, holding loyalty to the Constitution over loyalty to him. When he says “America First,” he means “Trump First.”

Don't you hate it when you tweak the formatting on an article and it throws a junk citation into your footnotes! You know, just trying to widen the margins a skosh and BOOM--peer reviewers pile on and it gets REJECTED! I feel ya, RFK, J.
