assembling the latest buck converter for the FAT PS2 USB-C mod is nerve racking with the tiny components and their proximity.
if this works, then we're one step closer to closing this project!

As I begin to divide workflows, here's pics from the dev logs on the WiiU console USB-C mod.
2 adjustments to go before finalizing. It'll stick out 2-3mm without shell trimming; the fuse and caps at the end of the motherboard make it so the trigger can't go any deeper.

Of ALL the yellowing, this purple controller has turned COMPLETELY brown except for a tiny spot on the underside. While I kinda like the color, it'd be something to see how much of the yellowing could be removed. Decisions decisions lol

Retrobrighting the white shells is going well, but think it's at a point of diminishing returns. you can see some faded yellow where it was completely orange before - wish I took before pics... either way, perhaps sanding to remove the bits of scuff will also remove the remaining yellowed layers

For now - Manic Knight Rayearth! The unit was surprisingly super clean and works! I plan to re-cap it. I'll want to look into a screen mod for this guy at some point.
