The racists don't care. The american taxpayers will pay but Trump isn't personally responsible for any damages awarded and he hates the government so I don't think he cares about paying out eventually but terrorizing people now.

I don't accept any late work so I can manage my other commitments. But I drop the two lowest hw set scores for everyone so that when life intervenes, my students are still ok. If life intervenes +2 weeks, there isn't enough time left to actually learn the material, which is sort of the point.
