probably also had the best of care.Too bad about his medals being stripped. For awhile he was such an inspiration for cancer survivors First wk after chemo I only walk 15 minutes,but,slower. Will b "fun" this week with the snow on the ground to walk. Probably won't have enough energy to ski this wk

Also, local foundation started by Cancer Center head, gave us some gift cards which we used for gas & some food. Story about him- he wanted rural cancer outcomes to be as good as big city hospitals. New Cancer wing just opened in Oct

That is all covered now with Medicare. Don't know if I would have had a social/financial person in TX. She filled out required info for Susan Koman grant which I should receive soon & another national nonprofit that will help cover a lot of 20 o/o chemo cost that Medicare does not cover.

Hopefully, just a couple of days of feeling🤬. No fatigue, just stomach problems. Will try to get out & walk some every day like last time as I think that helped.🕯️📿🙏💫

Oh, boy, we are going to have some wind chills down to -10 or so on Wednesday. Heard last Winter was rather"mild". Been many years since we spent Dec up here & it was very 🌨️ & cold then also. Where is "global warming" when you need it🥶😅

Gave you seen the skate skis? The cities news showed people doing that on a trail below behind the newsman. Looks like fun, but, I need slower pace & poles🎿

Years ago we had 3 dogs that would go with us skiing & they mostly kept off the skis. Fun times & still fun even though we don't go as far😅⛷️🎿❄️

Feeling so good the last couple of weeks(except for watery itchy 👀 at times). 3rd treatment tomorrow & low tonight 0, high tomorrow about 20. Colder Wed & Thurs🧊🥶 & then back up to low 20s for high Fri/Sat.

Maybe they will slow down as they get older like Ivy. She used to 💗playing in the ❄️. Now she goes out & comes back in quickly. Keep posting picks of the GSDs & green sniff spots. 🥰🤗

In Sept had Dr appt, mammogram & ultrasound same day, biopsy following wk. Then quick PET scan. MRI was scheduled out a wk & nurse assistant called someone & got in 2 days & ended up being pushed up an hr. Amazing

Don't want to go back when it is 95-100 degrees there starting in May. Of, course, right now temps are perfect there. One of sis-in-laws told me she can't get in to have mammogram until sometime in Jan & told I'm better off getting quicker treatment up here
