There’s so much more that the state comptroller can do. We can invest in affordable housing here in New York. We can audit powerful companies that drive utility bills through the roof. We can fight to lower junk fees and elder scams.

The New York State Comptroller could attack the housing crisis. It could help lower our utility bills. It could fight Trump's unchecked authoritarianism.

I was asked by @sarbetter.bsky.social on Capital Tonight why I'm running for New York State Comptroller.

My friend Congressman @rokhanna.bsky.social is spot on.

The State Comptroller can be a strong check on corporate greed and rising costs. Cost of living is out of control, and the affordability crisis isn’t inevitable. It’s a policy choice.

We can choose differently.

New Yorkers are tired of failed leaders, especially while we're getting fleeced by establishment officials.

That's why I’m running for New York Comptroller – to hold powerful companies accountable, to protect your money, and to fight for you.

New Yorkers know their elected officials well. So why don't they know their state Comptroller?

The Comptroller is one of the most powerful people in New York – controlling billions and shaping our housing, childcare, and economy. It’s time to reclaim that power.

While New Yorkers struggle with everyday costs and wages that don’t keep up, the current Comptroller has invested our state’s pension fund money in Florida & Chicago real estate.

I’m running for Comptroller to make sure our money is invested where it belongs, right here in New York.

Our elders are left vulnerable to scammers exploiting their trust, and our policy makers are too slow to respond. As New York comptroller, I’ll protect the elderly by prohibiting investments in companies that prey on older New Yorkers.

Immoral and illegal ICE raids are tearing New York families, communities, and businesses apart.

I was on Fox & Friends this morning to talk about the need to protect our children from the predatory online companies monetizing their attention.

I hope to see continued action to curb the negative affects of social media on our children.

Special Registration, the initiative Bush pushed after 9/11, punished Muslim communities and wasted taxpayer dollars. This politics of revenge and racial profiling is what we see today, and it feeds into Trump’s vengeance. I’ll fight for policies that protect New Yorkers, not politics.

Undocumented immigrants pay $3 billion in taxes to New York every year. They are our neighbors who help build our economy.

Yet children are torn from their parents and sent to countries they’ve never known.

That’s not justice, it’s cruelty. Un-American, plain and simple.
