One year I had 131… when I had a 0.5 TOSA gig too. When we were on an A day/B day schedule my caseload approached 450. 😅

100% this. I would love a tool to help me get through grading faster. But I need that tool because I had already have over 200 students. Even though that’s the smallest caseload I’ve had in years, I worry that an AI grading tool would be used to justify packing more students in my classes.

I guess when it comes down to it, I want an AI to call numbers like the insurance company or comcast for me so I can do creative stuff. I don't want to have to haggle with an AI insurance or cable company agent and waste my time.

It worked. We just huddled around my phone while I let it call me. We interrupted it, asked it strange questions, and generally tried to throw it off. It responded rather well - so well we were a little unnerved.

A couple students and I used the same concept at the start of the next year to introduce each grade level and staff team in our school entry way. It annoyed the people in the office after a day, but it was super fun!

I also did a whole class mural about 6 years ago with a 4th grade class doing a project on the Oregon Forest. We remapped them and gave each kid a letter as the start of their code. When it was done we stuck the project on a @raspberrypi.bsky.social so it would run offline. It turned out great!

I love that! For middle school Ss, It's an easy entry into making buttons on a breadboard. We have a ton of Microbits with breadboard hats. MMs are a great intro into using them.

I went from record 10 to chorus 12. Couldn’t justify the cost/weight difference ratio for super record. 😂

Sure is! I love that bike!
