The billionaire is the company she mentions, a U.K. company. While a billion pounds is a lot of money, it costs about £300m per year to run the Guardian, Observer, etc. and it is struggling to be profitable.

A week on(!), do you have a contact who can confirm / deny whether the latest crop of Tory Bsky accounts that have recently appeared (most with MP suffixes and common banner pics) are genuine ones? Eg KB, Rob J, James C, Tom T, JRM…

Sounds like we might be at cross-purposes then. Although I don’t understand why anyone would block her - that is surely only necessary for harassment etc. You can simply not follow her and she is unlikely to comment on your posts.

Strong disagree! You can create any feed / echo-chamber you want on Blue Sky whether left, right or whatever. You don’t have to read her posts. But the platform will be stronger if it can be home to the entire mainstream political spectrum.

People need to take a step back. It’s unrealistic to expect to expect privately owned media orgs to be politically neutral unless heavily regulated. We have to accept that social media monopolies are as problematic as newspaper/broadcast media monopolies. Blue Sky is simply the free market at work.
