If we are talking about a ref getting killed for messing up fixing a game then yes. If we are talking about someone murdering a player for a mistake, football is more likely because teams has 5x as many players as a basketball roster. Football has the edge.

There are only two solutions, as I see it:
1. Ban all sports betting outside of Vegas
(Unlikely but we used to!)
2. Treat all sports as gambling and require the refs, coaches, and maybe even the players to hold federal gaming licenses.
(Watch their finances and such)
We have to choose one.

Internationally, already happened. But the most likely league for this to happen here is for sure NCAA football.

TBF you know for a fact he got fed ibuprofen like candy while he was in the Marines. To him ibuprofen is probably just as useless as it is for me. But for those of us who weren’t given ibuprofen out of the comical candy dispenser it probably works, I’d imagine.
