I felt a real lack of motivation in Gunpla due to some dismissive, condescending BS in a previous Patreon Discord I've since left, so I switched to a Reddit model car contest instead. Didn't finish in time, but I'm still chipping away at it.

The thing most people appear to be getting extra mad over is that we don't allow depictions of rape now" My opinion, meaning not part of the quote, to be clear, is this: As written, this now deleted comment appears to claim moral superiority over anything considered taboo, whether a fictional situation or not, and is a blatant play to potential advertisers in spite of their user base. Whether you agree with my reading or not, I leave to you.

Still slowly chipping away at the HG Gundam MK II (AEUG). I tried a bit of weathering in spots as well, especially the hand, so it's been fun practice.

Work on the HG Gundam MK II (AEUG) continues, but this time with a twist: UV Panel Liner!

This is Stedi's Fluorescent Grey, applied over a flat coat, and wiped away with water when dried. I'm also using their brown liner, but that doesn't glow. I like them a lot so far!

You know @safety.bsky.app is all about an open and logical discussion when replies and quotes are disabled on this nonsense. Singal (and others of a similar hateful bent) still being here is bad enough, but are we speed running incompetence and clear bias here? The fuck?

Build of the HH Models Wolf King bust, with a picture including two HGs for scale. No paint yet, but I'm very impressed with everything besides the seller: This is the third order in a row from Gundam Central Shop that arrived damaged!

Luckily, the broken parts are hidden.

The "cool" (<- Sarcasm) thing about these tariffs is that the U.S. government can leverage the economy to further destroy us all, and make themselves richer in the process, but there is not a single thing I can say about it to explain my anger that wouldn't get me banned here.

Did a very quick test build of the legs on this bootleg RE/100 Efreet Custom and, yeah, it's gonna need some work on that foot joint 😆

I was hoping for a bit more detail, but since it's copied from the RE line, I shouldn't be surprised that some stuff is lacking.

I managed to finish the inner frame of the HG Gundam Vual 🎉

Most of it will be covered up with armor later, including that exposed joint on the left foot, but doing all the little details was great brush practice!

I've said this before and I absolutely will say it again:

Zombie Army 4: Dead War is one of the most goofy and charming spins on existing IP (the Sniper Elite series) I can recall.

If you can, grab it whenever it's on sale.

Also: Use a controller with a speaker and leave it paused for a bit 😏.

There are a lot of problems with Gundam 0083, but I still want to point out Cima Garahau... as I often do.

Look at that throne, and on the bridge of her ship no less! Queen shit. Love her.

Posted this in a reply elsewhere, but here is more detail work on the HG Gundam Vual. It's just two colors I've used elsewhere, Tamiya's Flat Aluminum and Metallic Grey lacquers, but I like how they compliment each other.
