The story of a lifetime, titled terribly robbed in Rome. Checked out from our hotel in Rome, visiting Vatican for a few hours, on our way to Naples. Everything (passports, laptop, ipads, etc) was in the trunk of the car, nothing visible from outside.Yet they broke in and cleared every single thing.

Leqaa has been in detention for the last eight months!! How is it possible that we don't even know of her?? We are all made culprits in this vicious power game and are left with nothing but our hypocrisy.
Leqaa Kordia—not a Columbia student but “a simple Palestinian girl,” as she describes herself—is the last remaining campus protester still in detention from the Trump Administration’s crackdown on pro-Palestinian demonstrators in the U.S.

physical annihilation is what we are observing in real time. yet still miles away, so it does not have its direct effects. systemic annihilation, on the other hand, is what we are actively involved in. when we conform to explicit or implicit silencing, we unconsciously become a part of this system.
