weird game design where the obvious path goes to a secret collectible that goes nowhere and the path to progress through the story is a hidden ladder tucked away in a corner.
took too long trying to figure out how to progress and just gave up and look up on the internet where to go next

figured out how to install and play Dune 2000 on Windows 10. Also found a mod that lets me queue building units and play on a higher resolution. recording gameplay sped up the game somehow.
