Fun fact: my Dad had this adventure on a Betamax tape, but it cut off the beginning (it was an edit that had all 4 episodes included as a movie with only one intro) so he didn't know the name of the episode. He called it "Android Death Marker" which I think it more metal than The Robots of Death.

This costume was burned into my mind, one of the first Star Trek episodes I saw as a child. Horrifying. Between that and the bugs in Chekov's ear in Star Trek II there was a lot to be frightened of in Star Trek for a kid in the 80s!
