As a child did you ever run at top speed toward a trusted grownup who picked you up and swung you around in a circle? I remember smiles and laughing from everyone involved. So much joy. What a great memory to cherish. I wish that kind of happiness for all of you, now & forever.

Insomnia? What I’ve learned to fall asleep:
1. Stop caring. If you fret over falling asleep you never will. It’ll happen eventually.
2. Invent a story in your mind. You’re the main character. Do cool stuff. Keep returning to it no matter how your thoughts stray.
3. Write down to-do lists before bed.

“If we call for the proof and we question the answers, only the doubt will grow. Are we blind to the truth or a sign to believe in? Only the wise will know.”

I always loved those lines. They’re from the song ‘Ammonia Avenue’ by The Alan Parsons Project. Released in 1984, they’re as true as ever.

Does anyone remember the movie Sliding Doors (1998) with Gwyneth Paltrow? I swear, at least 15 times this week I thought we were in the wrong timeline.
