This piece shows two males, one human and one elf, looking in a mirror in a naked embrace. There is no sexual activity, but rather the elf has placed golden-painted handprints on the other's body in places the other feels unnattractive. This is to remind the other that he is beautiful. Behind them is a bed with teal covers, and a headboard with dragons and serpents on them. This piece is of Dorian Pavus during the events of Dragon Age The Veilguard according to Jenna's own world state. Between Tresspasser and The Veilguard, Dorian Pavus has gained a bit of weight, gaining soft, grabbable bits of flesh that his love, Khira Lavellan loves to pieces. Due to Dorian not being able to see why Khira would find his new body attractive, Khira, using golden paint to show how priceless he finds his love's body, places his hand on multiple parts of Dorian's body. This represents all the places that he adores; from the streachmarks he has found he now has, additional rolls of skin, even the body hair he has obtained and kept untrimmed. It's a reminder that to Khira, Dorian's body, whilst changed, is still his favourite thing, no matter what Dorian may think. I adored drawing this piece - I hope that if you're reading this and you have a part of your body that you may be uncomfortable about, whether it's a bit of additional weight you have gained or something altogether - you are still beautiful, worthy, and deserve to be loved. Sometimes we just need a reminder, like Dorian here. <3 Turn Around Time: 3 weeks.
