Warren Buffett once called crypto "rat poison squared." So is Trump building a digital Fort Knox or stockpiling a financial biohazard? Whatever the aim: parking billions in idle BTC - yielding nothing - will sideline capital that could drive innovation, infrastructure, and real economic growth.

Sometimes the spine of SCOTUS depends less on principle and more on the sheer incompetence of the Trump administration - this time, the solicitor general fumbling the argument. And for the dissenters? Not even that. Alito & Co. would’ve handed him the match to burn Congress’s power at the stake.

In a razor-thin House majority of 220:215, the majority’s obligation to show up for every vote or lose will drive home a core truth to the Speaker: democracy isn’t pure majority rule. It’s a system where the majority governs, but the minority cannot be trampled www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

Sadly, the U.S. Supreme Court, once a pillar of checks and balances, now seems to serve ideological interests more and more. A July-August 2024 survey found that 56% of Americans have little to no trust in the Court to act in their best interests. www.annenbergpublicpolicycenter.org/trust-in-us-...
