I had 10 finished attempts across ~45 minutes, but the second one (pictured) is my favorite. The one thing I would change about it is how the end is done, but this one turned out the best overall in my opinion!

I was deleting a bunch of dumped texture files I didn't need, and one of them randomly caused an error the first time trying to delete it, saying "The file exists"

I got the Nintendo Switch 2 a few days ago! Been excited to play Mario Kart World (and have really enjoyed what I've played of it so far!)

I liked how the quick sketch of the second drawing was more than how it was actually turning out (it was proportioned really badly), so I used that for it instead.

The latter way was much better, and it felt really satisfying to problem solve this way. I felt like I was understanding myself and how I best interpret things better! Going through school, I'd always try to think through everything in my head, but it's a poor practice I'm trying to grow out of now.

I initially had the model set up like the top part of this image, but thought of what is represented on the bottom part soon after. I didn't want to switch methods unless I knew it would be more efficient, but couldn't think it all out in my head, so I made a very quick representation in paint.net.
