I was already planning on a garden this year since I have the yard space now. I’m starting to buy my seeds and extra soil now. At least I’ll have veggies. I haven’t canned since I was a kid, but that’s on my list too. I didn’t think about coffee, but now I am!

At various times, there is a need to give yourself grace, know that resting & stepping back are more important than pushing through. 2024 wasn’t what I wanted or planned. But most of it was out of my control. Adjusting to that was hard, but now I can look ahead & keep going.

Was 2024 my best year? No
But considering how it started, with an unplanned, immediate need to move, followed by a huge workload increase in my day job, then some additional personal stress, it could have been worse too.
