this is what I use if I have a desk, not curled up on the couch. I use too much pressure for anything with any give in it. And the hardcore ones all cost about the same as this anyway.

Weird thought, if the field of illustration really doesn't matter to you, (certainly not enough to pay an illustrator)- maybe just use photos? They look professional, and it's even quicker than generation- AND won't leave characters with different numbers of fingers or wrong-length arms!

I hear you, and I do understand the reasoning- it FEELS like the convenience of clipart.
But you would know that presentation matters. Like I said, the analogy is to comic sans typeface etc. Besides other concerns around ethics, IP ownership etc. It looks *broadly* incompetent.

I strongly suspect this, and other images on this acc. are generated rather than illustrated.
Without any malice at all- the use of AI image generation deeply discredits anything worthwhile you have to say in any field.
It screams incompetence the same way a comics sans logo typeface might.

My whole first game gig was animated "paintings" in photoshop. something like 400-500 frames. I was ready to puke.

The alternative is to do nothing at all- and that gets old fast!

I always tell myself-
Any new scary thing I am working on may *indeed* be shit- it's even LIKELY to be shit - but if that's the case I won't ever be good at it until I do some shit ones.
Which doesn't always feel like, kind to say to myself, but it feels realistic and manageable.

I'd be using it more myself for grown-up work, but their brush algorithm is a bit bare bones :/
