This! As much as it hurt me to do so, I stopped listening to a few bands and artists because of questionable behavior. Megadeth (Mustaine is homophobic), Iron Maiden (Bruce Dickinson is transphobic), and Electric Wizard (willingly uses nazi imagery and is with a neonazi record label).
