I made my daughter a duck cake from her favorite show Bluey (which we dressed as a family today for her birthday costume party).
I have zero baking experience outside of basic box cakes and boxed brownies, just tenacity and over confidence.... And I think it paid off 😎

Finally retiring my #MTG days. Years since I pulled out my cards, but I don't need them anymore.

Just playing around, first tree and foliage with the watercolor brush pens, with some fine-tip & brush pens thrown in there too.
Trying different styles and techniques, so you can see where I'm experimenting in some areas (couldn't figure out how to do dirt lol)
Overall pretty happy with it!

I grew up for most of my life without any hobbies or "skills". Apart from video games, there wasn't anything that made me *me*.
I was never encouraged to do anything more than the bare minimum. At 28 I decided to change that. I started writing more & started drawing.

I took this challenge personally.
I used to love this game, tried so hard to get the highest achievable block which is 131,072, but only ever got to the second biggest, which is 65,536. Don't remember my highest score though lol.
Will probably come back to this tomorrow to see how high I can get 😅

I'm still very new to drawing, but really proud with how this came out!
My first attempt at any sort of landscape, so you can see in different areas where I was practicing different techniques to try and get shading right.
Still a long way to go, but making progress!

If I had unlimited money, I would just buy endless knick knacks, and houses and spaces to store said knick knacks.
I just like cool stuff man. Look at this jellyfish thing I got at the aquarium today, cool as hell. It glows in the dark!
