For me it was River (2023) Directed by Junta Yamaguchi.

Finished A Man on The Inside last night. Such a great show. I adore The Good Place and this is a wonderful follow up from Michael Schur. Self contained, charming and moving.
Also, a HELL of a cast. As a hardcore Alien fan I loved seeing Veronica Cartwright!

Finished A Man on The Inside last night. Such a great show. I adore The Good Place and this is a wonderful follow up from Michael Schur. Self contained, charming and moving.

Feel good film this morning. As someone with a young daughter, this was a delight.
Speak No Evil (2022) on Shudder.
A remake feels odd because a big part of the film's anxiety comes from the language barrier and the majority of the film is already in English. 🤷 Thoughts?
