Saw Mission: Impossible- The Final Reckoning this weekend after watching all of the previous 7 movies, and I have a new appreciation for the series. They are all solid, but here is my final ranking of the Mission: Impossible movies from best to least best.

4, 6, 1, 8, 5, 2, 7, 3

Decompressing since my trip and playing Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. Been looking forward to this game for a while, highest reviewed game of the year, selling and hyping a ton, surely it can't be that good? Well, I'm at the end of Act 2, and it's 10/10 for me.
Gameplay screen grab, so pretty.

Spent last week on another planet playing cyberpunk gangster. Didn't get a lot of pics, but got a ton of memories! 4th year at Neotropolis, so much fun!

Been a SpongeBob fan for 25 years and have a Jodah deck. Bummer I couldn't buy my one $30 thing. I checked out the second I could and made it pretty far in the line.

Been a big SpongeBob fan for 25 years, and I have a Jodah deck. Grabbed my one non-foil thing and checked out the second I could, made it pretty far in the line, then it paused. Been here almost 3 hours, now I need to go. Not sure what else I could have done. Bummer. #secretlair

Happy 13th anniversary, wifey!! She's not on Bluesky, but I can still shout my love from the mountaintops! Love your face!

Just beat Avowed, thought it was great! Why did so many hate it? It wasn't supposed to be BG3 or Elder Scrolls. It was its own thing with super fun gameplay that I could actually finish as a busy dad. Great action, cool world, great design decisions, and neat ethical questions. Thanks Obsidian! 9/10

My little guy Jinx was hit by a car and died tonight. We think he was about 20 years old, loved to snuggle, and had the biggest old man meows you've ever heard. This was my last picture of him.

Happy #SquirrelAppreciationDay!

Did you know squirrels sometimes pretend to bury their food to throw off potential thieves?

Saw this rad little red squirrel in a cemetery in Copenhagen. I friggin love squirrels!

Merry Martial Movie 31/31: Enter the Dragon (1973)

Bruce Lee's final full movie, and a significant part of the genre. Lee must infiltrate a tournament on a secret island to bust Han, who is suspected of all the crimes, and maybe make some friends along the way. Don't think, feel this classic.

Merry Martial Movie 30/31: Everything, Everywhere, All at Once (2022)

This one of a kind movie came out of nowhere and took the world by storm. This movie is so heartfelt, yet so silly, and has some quality martial arts. Laugh, cry, win some awards and grab an everything bagel.

Merry Martial Movie 29/31: Hero (2002)

With some of the most beautiful wuxia style fight scenes, Hero tells the story of Nameless and his audience with the King after killing 3 of his greatest enemies. Too many huge name actors to list, huge colorful fights, and some incredible plot twists.

Merry Martial Movie 28/31: Seven Samurai (1954)

Akira Kurasawa directs what many consider the first modern action film. This story has been retold many times, has a great cast of characters and an inspiring story of protecting and empowering a small farming village to defend itself from bandits.

Merry Martial Movie 27/31: Master of the Flying Guillotine (1976)

A revenge story with a brutal weapon. I love all the different styles on display, especially at the tournament. A one armed boxer, hidden tonfa blades, stretchy Indian guy, a Thai boxer, all sorts of cool stuff.

Merry Martial Movie 26/31: Project A (1983)

The Peking opera brothers (Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao) are back on this list, and this time they need to take down some pirates when the navy fails. Some of the gnarliest stunts, funny bits, and a superb end fight.

Merry Martial Movie 25/31: Iron Monkey (1993)

Not gonna lie, this might be my favorite martial arts movie ever. The US release showed up at a formative time for me. Wong Fei-hung, Dr. Yang, Miss Orchid, Chief Fox, and Donnie Yen as Wong Kei-Ying. Happy Holidays everyone!

Merry Martial Movie 24/31: Kung Fu Hustle (2004)

The culmination of Stephen Chow's career, his hilarious brutal opus, and a powerful homage to the genre. A wannabe gangster gets caught up in a struggle where apartment tenants must protect their homes from an axe gang, musical hitmen, and The Beast.

Merry Martial Movie 23/31: Red Cliff (2008)

John Woo directs this famous battle from a very old book inspired by historical events. I'm a big fan of the 3 Kingdoms period in China, and this movie delivers. Tony Leung is a perfect Zhou Yu, one of my favorites of the many famous figures.

Merry Martial Movie 22/31: The Protector (2005)

Another Tony Jaa classic similar to Ong Bak, but this time with my favorite animal, elephants! An extreme sports gang, 3 fights in a burning temple, an insanely epic long 4 minute one shot action sequence up a restaurant, and "Where's my elephant!"

Merry Martial Movie 21/31: Ip Man (2008)

Check out more Donnie Yen as he plays Ip Man, a Wing Chun master in Japanese occupied Foshan in the 1930s. Some of the best legit Wing Chun in film, thanks to great technical consultants, this movie will make you do your chain punches every day.
