We never punished the South, and we’re living with the consequences. My new essay on how reconstruction’s failure echoes in 2025.

If our fight were hopeless their propaganda wouldn’t be necessary. Tonight has given me a glimmer of hope. But the fight is never ending.

The Architect and the Cat: Curtis Yarvin, Commander Lawrence, and the Curse of the Intellectual Revolutionary
When a thinker tries to build order out of chaos, history always repeats the same cruel lesson: the revolution devours its children.

Those in power is a beast with three heads: technocrats, Christian nationalists and the fashy oligarchs. We have a long road ahead of us, but Curtis Yarvin may have just handed us a small win. Some momentum to keep fighting the good fight. Go read his latest Substack.

Can Qatar also gift the USA: universal healthcare, access to education, access to healthcare, alleviate food insecurities, alleviate housing insecurities, livable wages, access to clean drinking water, paid family leave, universal early child care and lift Americans out of poverty?

Trump isn’t playing chess or checkers, he’s playing poker and overplaying his hand.

It screams inexperience. Good players pick up on your betting patterns and exploit them.

America is being left behind. Isolated from the world. A tactic commonly used by narcissists.

If you owned a 50 space parking lot, charged $10 for 8 hr parking. Averaged 25 occupied spaces. You would make $31.25 an hour. Federal min wage is $7.25. A parking lot makes 4x more an hour than a human.

Luckily parking lots do not require basic human needs or we’d blame them too.

The president of the United States, is blaming diversity programs for the aircraft tragedy. Simultaneously a recovery mission from the accident is underway in the Potomac River.

I have no words.

Our president is literally trying to start a conspiracy theory about how OUR government, the same one he heads, intentionally struck OUR own commercial plane. All while the leadership he appointed and their teams are investigating this horrific tragedy.

I am so sorry to all involved.

Like his first term, in the wake of tragedy, Trump behaves as if he is not the president of the US. Posts wild accusations as if he’s merely raising questions about the very government he runs.

Government leadership should help its people, not intentionally sabotage them by creating chaos.

Not the US with “you 10+ years, 632 certifications, 18 degrees, a dissertation and must present portfolio” for an entry level position paying $20/hr.

The most disturbing part of Pete’s confirmation hearing was PH not answering the (any) question, when senator Slotkin asked about using military force on unarmed citizens and/or allowing the president to deploy the 82nd airborne on unarmed US citizens. UNARMED CITIZENS. Yeesh.

Heritage foundation paid a group IT cybersecurity guys to scour the internet and make a database of names. Given our data, the citizens, is everywhere. It’s not hyperbolic to assume the idea of this database with be expanded on beyond just federal employees.
