I never watched it. There was something about the marketing and conversation around the movie that put me off. I didn't see it as something that would be edifying.
I've never regretted that decision. Also. I know the story quite well.

As clergy, this sense of victimhood ranks pretty high on the list of things that anger me about western Christianity. Just below the oppression of so many different groups. But claiming to be a victim is how they justify much of that oppression.

Well that's a new descriptor. I am curious where that came from. And I too have never led a memorial service with fireworks. I do wonder how I would respond in the presence of them.

You echo what I have been thinking Gord. I'm sad to say I don't expect our government to make much noise over this. And no matter where someone is from their lives should be valued.

Yeah. It's just what I feared. The early goal while still getting into the game. It's like a frequent story with this team. Also, settle down with those tackles. Cannot afford the red card.
