I’m asking Republicans to hold a public vote on banning assault weapons and high-capacity magazines, because that’s what the majority of Minnesotans want to see.

Minnesota just earned a AAA bond rating - that’s basically an 850 credit score for the state, thanks to responsible budgeting and strong fiscal management.

Our employers added 5,900 jobs in August - beating the national average.

A bet against Minnesota is a bad bet.

The Republican funding bill does not include ACA tax credits that make healthcare affordable. Texans have the highest rate of uninsured folks. We need to extend tax credits to keep Texans covered.

I’m pushing to make these healthcare tax credits permanent.

After Charlie Kirk’s murder, Trump and his allies wasted no time crafting an insidious and baseless narrative: that the left is violent, the right is under siege, and only they can restore order. Sound familiar? The Nazis tried the same playbook.

We don’t yet know what motivated the person who shot and killed Charlie Kirk, but this kind of despicable violence has no place in our democracy. Michelle and I will be praying for Charlie’s family tonight, especially his wife Erika and their two young children.

Healthcare costs are skyrocketing in Texas. Health insurance companies in the state are raising premiums by 24% on average. The cause? Trump’s massive cuts to healthcare funding. Congress needs to make healthcare more affordable for hard working families. www.expressnews.com/business/art...
As shoppers watch egg prices, insurers are seeking double-digit premium hikes
Since 1999, health insurance premiums for people with employer-provided coverage have more than quadrupled. Rates probably have risen even more drastically for those with ACA plans.
