26 January 1937 | A Dutch Jewish girl, Esther Polak, was born in Amsterdam.
She arrived at Auschwitz in a transport of 1010 Jews deported from Westerbork on 28 July 1942. She was murdered in the gas chamber after selection.

Since i moved to Pocket Casts, I've listened to 9 different podcasts and 210 episodes, and that I've had the equivalent of 6 days of listening and 2 days in particular of @theresthistory.bsky.social I would like to state that this is only while walking the dogs! And stopping to enjoy the scenery...

A surprise wind caused trees to fall across the parish. Despite the wind, sleet, rain and cold the St Martin Honorary Police were out and about, helping keep people safe, all credit to them and a privilege to help them in some small way with the Parish team at the Public Hall. #JerseyCI at its best.
