Yeah Linux and NTFS don't mix nicely. I've had an awful experience trying to copy data across 2 external drives that had NTFS partitions. The kernel would sometimes hang when trying to mount the partitions, the mount would often crash or hang, and sometimes the devices wouldn't even show up.

What the- well that's different from twitter. Instant post engagement out of the blue even though I just signed up? And the accounts don't seem to look like bots. What kind of algorithm is this?
