I believe you AND, as a (progressive) disabled woman, it would go a long way to hear something like “that’s not what I meant, AND I’m sorry for how that comment landed.”

Progressive voter here. Also a disabled progressive voter. Big fan of yours. Truly. The thing is that when people say that words hurt, I have believed that progressives of all people should believe them.
