Having said that (previous post) I did spend 45 minutes waiting to be number 1 on the doctor phone line (started at 13), only to be told that the ‘system was closed’. Then being told I could call 111. Which I did and within an hour had a phone consultation with my GP surgery.

So I can tell you that I’m very much enjoying my 12 days of post Easter. Doing lots of nothing. Discovered and baked a delish almond flour chocolate cake recipe, after the less good but okay non chocolate recipe I tried. Also crispy chilli tofu 😋. Also had an 80 minute massage 💆🏽♀️🧘🏽♀️🥰.

Off to @GenSyn today. It is a long one & the Safeguarding items will be fractious. To assess the actual decisions before us without all the ‘noise’ is hard. And sadly it seems that anti-LGBT+ politics is driving some of this stuff. It’s hard to be wise. Your prayers appreciated.

A high-budget series set in the Outer Hebrides – it’s hard to believe it’s taken this long, given how popular subtitled TV is. It’s a good, solid series, even if the plot stretches credulity
It is difficult to imagine An t-Eilean being made even 10 years…
