Hmmm tonight I'm gonna play a psychological horror Visual Novel before going to sleep (develops existential dread)
I had an epiphany recently and realized that Hunter x Hunter was named after Gon's motivation to track down/hunt his father, a hunter. The hunter hunter! Took me 18 years!
Except that's not what Togashi had in mind, he just thought it'd be funny to repeat the same word twice.
I feel doubly stupid.
