Four Commonplace Truths

1. No situation is impossible to change.
2. A communal vision, outstanding strategy, and sustained effort can bring forth positive change.
3. Everyone can help make a difference.
4. No one is free of responsibility.

I have to agree. Surely we’re not letting the Feds shrug and say “oops” and go on their merry way?!
If I was a judge and a DOJ lawyer filed a brief saying "yes, we mistakenly shipped someone with a right to be here to a foreign gulag but you have no power to order us to bring him back" I'd put that lawyer in jail until that person was brought back.

This news encourages me. Democracy can prevail over someone like Elon Musk using his wealth to buy an election. Now democracy find a way to undo the way he’s bought himself into being a co-president of our country and ignoring the construction and rule of law.
Breaking News: Susan Crawford, a liberal judge, won a pivotal Wisconsin Supreme Court seat despite $25 million in spending by Elon Musk on her opponent. nyti.ms/4jbwPWD

Col. Schappert lays it out clearly.
From Col. Schappert:

“I spent a good portion of Sunday afternoon responding to emails from here and abroad. It's quite remarkable. All were respectful, appreciative, and a salve to the deep frustration and hurt.”

He goes on:
This letter appeared in the Bloomsburg PA Press Enterprise this morning. I am assured the writer is who he purports to be, an Air Force veteran.
