While I don't always agree with you, I admire your cogent engagement with some of the questionable replies you often receive. If I were in such a position, I would have long ago chosen just to swear and turn off my computer.

Undeniable that DLSD is terrible. But get a couple of blocks away from it and you can find some wonderful, dense, tree-filled, very walkable neighborhoods (which is why I moved here from New England).

After 25 years in Providence, Rhode Island, My spouse and I spent 2 years trying to figure out where to retire. I have low vision and can't drive so it needed to be as walkable as possible. We moved to Lakeview East. While no place
is perfect for all kinds of reasons, this has been very good.
