Here’s a summary of news about the game. It doesn’t cover much of this year though. Updates were communicated outside of their kickstarter but they replied to any questions they got on there. So I wouldn’t say they stopped communicating with the backers.

They did tell people it was still happening pretty often. Nothing about it taking so long though since the game kept growing past what they expected. Clearly they missed their internal deadlines a lot but they’re in a position where they don’t have to care about that as long as the game gets made.

They did. I don’t understand why people only absorb this information when it’s in trailers. They were saying periodically that the game was still coming along, sometimes on kickstarter directly. Even then you had clips in nintendo and xbox shows every once in a while.

I think the devil devils fear most is pochita as well. Death hasn’t been shown as a threat to devils but angel said every devil he talked to remembered hearing chainsaws before they died. Also aki and power dying immediately led to pochita appearing.
