I mean, neither would *I*. I don't believe in ancient Levantine fairy tales. I think the real issue isn't that he didn't swear with his hand on the Bible, but that he didn't truly swear at all. He barely kept the smirk off his face the entire time he told that whopper of a lie.

I can't remember when last I felt as conflicted about a series as I feel about #RemembranceOfEarthsPast. It's an exercise in dualities: amazingly forward-looking yet shockingly regressive, poetically optimistic yet bleakly cynical. A reflection of the contradictory nature of humanity, perhaps.

I hate when I can't do the things I want to do, like the course has been set, but the reactor just won't fire up. The hours drift by, more than half without my awareness, and I drift with them, drawn along only by gravity and whatever small momentum remains to me.
