I love being in nature, reading, writing, movement/dance and rhythm, singing despite of my deafness (I am late-deafened), quietude, mindfulness, meditation. I believe the most important thing in life is to grow spiritually.
Animals suffer as much as humans do.
Have you watched the film COW about the life of a dairy cow? There are things that even when there is no easy answer/solution we should reflect upon.
Comment: I felt her pain, sadness and confusion.

As I grew in consciousness and realized that society is filled with insanity, I set out on a spiritual path. My desires, my interests, my priorities have continued to change; I am thankful for that. Above all, I want to live in the best interest of my soul.

As we grow up we are pushed towards ego driven pursuits, constant achievements, instead of being instilled with a sense of responsibility for the evolution of our souls. Our soul is our true self and what unites us to God and all forms of life.

Another reason why I love being in nature is that it invites / inspires me to pause and be present. People are often preoccupied with something in the past or with what will be next...

One of the reasons why I love being in nature is that it reminds me not to fall into a robotlike way of seeing, thinking and doing. Instead it reminds / inspires me to stay in touch with what is deepest in myself and to live with heart...
