The interviews with the Prime Minister and Chancellor are a continuous repetition of the same message and narrative. It’s very clear this is being done for the Party, while trying to make sure it doesn’t appear that way — even though that’s the only way it can be seen.

I suppose another way to view this is that Rachael is spending now (welfare) and the next government picks up the tab and would have to make difficult choices of raising taxes or making massive cuts.

Just kicking the can down the road.

Talk about kicking about the Kicking the Can down the road or a buy now pay later budget.

I don't know why Bonds haven't reacted to this because borrowing more money and higher debt in 5 years time at 3tn.

Hospitality is going all but wiped out. Dinner or later.

Hit with higher wages, energy costs, regular costs, and consumers who don't have the money to spend and would argue they don't have enough staff, poor food quality, or overpriced.

Vicious circle.

If you have to ask Labour MPs to unite behind this budget and support it, you're facing serious trouble.

These MPs really have no understanding of business or economic growth. That £4bn should be used to reduce energy costs, because this would help businesses & taxpayers, giving them more disposable income to reinvest in the economy. Otherwise, it’s just going to be wasted on failed companies and scams

Energy costs are the biggest contributor to inflation and slowing growth because consumers don't have money to spend in the economy
This time, families will be hit double with higher housing costs and now higher energy costs
The government needs to take the cost of energy and stop raising the BOE BR

Timmy tells some biggest lies here and towing lies from Ed Miliband. Wholesale prices have come down by 4%, and increased costs from this green project.

We have the North Sea which has gas in it but charge ourselves a wholesale rate, and the energy market needs reforms.

Today is International Men's Day, and it's important to recognize the challenges faced by men. While acknowledging these pressures is crucial, let's remember that many of them are externally imposed by society.

In truth, it was wrong for the BOE to raise interest rates and criticism of the Government at the time not to tackle or reform the energy market.
I have taken all the Data from ONS and combined it together with the base rate.

You can see how high energy costs lead pushed up food that then pushed up base rate. The Bank of England should have never moved the base rate as its a lagging then caused higher house costs.
