Great customisability for subtitles on the browser (font, size, opacity) but the app doesn't have that despite it telling you that it does. The app doesn't seem to conform to the changes you make on the browser. I'd prefer the apps font for the browser which isn't an option

A very big con: they have HP items (boooooo)
Another critique - you can't hide items which I would very much like to do for all HP items

- the horror genre is severely lacking (but it does have Trap which hasn't been free on streaming over here yet)
Going back to my photoshop point - the way they've altered the actors faces is wild and is giving uncanny valley especially for Ted Danson in my second pic 😬

- Max have over photoshopped a ton of show/movie posters, so much so that actors are unrecognisable to me (see pics)
- you can't search by actor
- there's no 👍👎 indicator to keep track of what you've watched
- genres are blended between fiction and reality/docos so the lists are huge
