Celebrate the solstice with the latest release of psych 2.5.3 now on CRAN.
The basic bug fixes (thanks all for finding them) and the addition of some minor suggestions from a number of users.

Update to psychTools coming soon. (Required psych to be on CRAN first.)

David Condon and I are very pleased that our Unidim paper is finally out at Psychological Measurement: Open access at
dx.doi.org/10.1037/met0...
We describe the unidim statistic which has been available in the psych package for several years.
We compare u to CFI, omega_h, and other estimates.

Had a great time at the ISSID sponsored experts conference on dynamics. Held at the TU conference center at Raitenhaslach (near Burghausen south of Munich) with some great contributors.
Very well organized by Markus Quirin and Farhood Malekzad of MTU.

The stanine is just one way to describe normally distributed data. (three are linear transforms of the z score (mean=0. sd=1), IQ ( mean=100, sd =15), SAT (mea=500, sd=100), stamina (mean=5, sd=2).
The percentile is monotonic but non linear and hides big differences at the tails,
Aidan know that.
