Even stupid animals are good at not starving

My friend's cat is the dumbest mammal-shaped *thing* on the planet. It regularly just walks straight off of edges because even after 8 years of Catting it forgets gravity

It still trots over to the pantry at exactly 8pm EST every day and wants food

The neat part of conditioning is that he doesn't have to understand, stupidity may make it take longer but it'll still work

My assumption is that Destiny 3, which we know is in very early development, is going to depend on Marathon

Mind you, the franchise is apparently still raking in a lot of cash, so I dont think D3 is going to get outright cancelled. But its scale and Dev Team may depend on Marathon

The thing I do firmly dislike is going full-in on making the Praxic and Dredgen full-on Jedi and Sith. It goes way too far into just being Star Wars rather than being an homage

I of course havent played it yet, but my impressions from promotional material is pretty similar to yours.

I really like some of it, especially the Cabal. I think some of it is just fine, and a lot of it is too far into Star Wars

I dont really *dislike* any of it, but a lot of it feels weird

On the left is a friend, on the right is a profidious foe who should be (ethically, painlessly) ctrl+alt+dlt from the state

Man people around the country really do just have vastly different experiences

I live in Florida and we have these little anoles that get *everywhere*. Some of them locale, some of them invasive. I doubt there is a cat in this state that hasn't eaten at least one

See when I say I wanted crafting, my *assumption* was that Bungie meant to make 1-2 weapons per season that were ultra-customizable and exclusive to crafting, while the rest of the weapon pool was farmeable

I dont think its unhinged but Tolkein was a very bad literary critic. His entire opinion on other books seemed to be based on whether or not they were similar to his (good) or dissimilar (bad)

Shakshouka goes hard and is pretty easy

I agree that the initial revenue does not seem good (obviously), but i do wonder if it might be good over time. The game released in an incredibly busy release season. If revenue remains stable from whales, it may work out

Also man I just want a console port

The Tanakh does not describe any realm of punishment. Simply Sheol, where *all* dead go. Hell, as described in the Old Testament, was a King James translation of Sheol - but the concepts of New Testament Hell and Sheol are not 1:1
September 23, 2025 at 12:02 PM
That was my thought too! I dont know how this gels with the general biblical sentiment of "the concept of Free will is worth letting people risk Damnation"

Additionally complicating this is that Hell is a New Testament concept. The Old Testament, where Free Will is discussed, doesnt have a Hell 1/2

In a literal reading, I think it would make Earth Heaven itself. Like an instantaneous dissapearence of any evil thought (or, whatever they think of as evil I guess). Angels etc living on Earth

Nobody else would end up in Hell because nobody on the living Earth would have *any* impurities

Everyone keeps their body in the Rapture

Hell I *think* it says something about all the dead people in Heaven coming back to life???

For what its worth it should smell less bad than from an un-neutered cat. A lot easier to clean and then just spray with some Lemon Smell or something

The chance of "happens at least once or twice when first introduced" is statistically high, the chance it stays a pattern forever is statistically low

I do not like that simple contact damage deals 2 whole masks

Honestly while I'm glad they didn't go full Grunge Green filter, I wouldn't have minded something to make all the outdoor daytime scenes a bit less sharp

I think its a continual knock-on effect from when Hollywood movies relentlessly pushed "Tacticool" suits

Honestly though with how packed September is in gaming, Ash and Iron isn't high on my priority list
