Ah, Nova Scotia… “Winter mix” sounds like it should be a popcorn-chocolate-pecan combo, but instead it’s snow-freezing rain-rain with added 90km/hr gusts (special for tomorrow). Waiting (and ready) for the power to go out in the land where storm chips are an emergency ration.

Our bit of Mahone Bay, frozen almost to Strum Island, with my finger casting a rosy glow in the corner. It’s bright and windy here in the Bay today.
