I’m here to share my art; and every now and then stuff that I enjoy in life.
Originally, I wasn’t sure if this one was completed. So, I put it down for a few weeks, but eventually came to the decision that I was, in fact, not quite done with it. Now, I am. Acrylic on 8x10 canvas with Satin varnish.

Another 8x10 linocut print that I based off another painting that I made. I’m thinking of doing a limited run of both prints on a few t-shirts. I’ve got one more painting that I’m thinking of using for a third linocut print.

Sarah has been suggesting that I make some larger linocut prints. So, today I decided to make some 8x10s based off an older painting of mine. As I was printing, I kept thinking about how they remind me of the comic books I used to read when I was a kid.

“Bunny” has been completed. This was a really fun project and I am so happy with the results.

Well, I think I’m done with this one, for the most part. Still need to pin some things back for a tighter fit, but overall I’d say I’m happy. Although, I do feel like she needs to be holding a doll head in the other hand.

Yesterday, I worked on getting the hands made and attached. A little bit of armature wire, some aluminum foil, and duct tape and it’s ready to hold the cleaver.

With October creeping up on us fairly fast, I’ve also been busy getting my new prop built for my Halloween yard display. This year’s prop is based off an original painting that I did about a year ago or so. If I have the time, I may try and make the background, as well.

Here’s a look at them before I affixed the glass cloche to the bases. I think I’d have to say that my favorite is the one
With the half skull.

I know we just started here, but I can’t wait to get into a larger space.

Last Saturday, @sarahables.bsky.social and I took some time to give our space at the Town Peddler a little remodel. I really like the new look. While we aren’t able to showcase all our items we’re selling, we have a pretty good range of items. Come check out what we have (Booth 75 on 7th & Main).

Sneak-peak at three of four new cloches that I’m working; and hoping to have ready in the next week or two. The fourth on is still in the paint and assemble stage of the process. Can’t wait to share the finished results for all of them. #mushrooms #mushroomart #skullart

Here are the rest of the pictures of our

Super excited to start this new journey with our booth (#75 on 7th Avenue) set up at the Town Peddler. If you are in the area, come see the fun stuff @sarahables.bsky.social and I have to offer. Thanks supporting us through this crazy journey we are on. Much love to you all.

Two new pieces that I’ve been working on. Both are acrylic on 8x10 canvas.

Just a few of the pieces that I’ve completed recently. Sorry if I’ve been MIA lately. Trying to limit my social media consumption. I’ll try and post more
as I get more done.

Current WIP. I started this one a while back, about 7 months ago, but couldn’t decide where I wanted to go with it. Yesterday, I felt like taking another look at it. I’m glad that I did. Sometimes it helps to walk away from a project and then come back to it with fresh eyes.

Cloche #1. Mushrooms made from hand painted oven-baked polymer clay. I started slowly working on these about six months ago and just recently finished them up.
