It just gets dicey because there is no formal delineation of archiepiscopal responsibility essential to his role as president of the college of bishops vs. those pertaining to his role as president of the assembly vs. primus inter pares and representative among other provinces.

Yeah. I 100% hear that. At Geneva College, the piety may be Scottish but the intellectual tradition is absolutely Kuyperian. Bavinck, Berkhof, Van Till, etc.
