There are so many problems with this. But the main one in my view is that I wish they would use those funds to bring back funding to USAID, or medicaid, or to reduce the deficit. Do we really need a ballroom? #fiscalresponsibility #wastfulspending

There are so many problems with this. But the main one in my view is that I wish they would use those funds to bring back funding to USAID, or medicaid, or to reduce the deficit. Do we really need a ballroom? #fiscalresponsibility #wastfulspending

Now that Lent is over, I can engage with social media once more. I was glad I gave it up for a time. It helped me gain perspective and helped me connect more with God in prayer. I hope to continue with a more healthy engagement with social media going forward. #lent #socialmedia

Though I certainly understand the "I told you so" mindset, I'm not sure it's all that helpful in coming together to make the world a better place for all people.

Not surprising, but frustrating none-the-less. Why? Russia was the aggressor.

Even if you like the idea of what Musk and Trump say they are trying to accomplish, the potential conflicts of interest here are overwhelming. There are all sorts of ways this has and can go wrong.

Even if you like the idea of what Musk and Trump say they are trying to accomplish, the potential conflicts of interest here are overwhelming. There are all sorts of ways this has and can go wrong.

This is hard to do in the best of times, but especially now in our super divided world. If we are to see our divisions lessen, it has to start somewhere, why not with us?
