It is absolutely unacceptable for the Trump administration to purge the CDC of important scientific data that matters to millions of people. I refuse to let ideologues stomp out evidence-based objective research—we all need to speak out. www.theatlantic.com/health/archi...
CDC Data Are Disappearing
The agency has already removed scientific data from public view. More could follow.

All of your most sensitive data and our country’s checkbook are in the hands of an unelected billionaire.

This is the most corrupt administration in history and it’s putting our economy & government in serious jeopardy.

It’s time to speak out and fight back.

This fight is far from over; the Trump admin is still illegally withholding funding across government. Republicans are still intent on confirming Russ Vought as this country’s budget director—someone who has REFUSED to say he will follow the law. Don't let up.
Breaking news: The White House budget office on Wednesday rescinded an order freezing federal grants, according to a copy of a new memo obtained by The Post, after the administration’s move to halt spending earlier this week provoked a backlash.

The Trump Administration’s action to suspend all federal grants & loans will have a devastating impact on the health and well-being of millions of children, seniors on fixed incomes, and the most vulnerable people in our country.

It is a dangerous move towards authoritarianism.

Empathy, joy, connection/community, really spiritual health/wellness are all antidotes to facism. I’m hoping to think and write more on this, but for now to paraphrase Heather Cox Richardson “authoritarians need despair, anger, and fear to rise to power”; don’t give it to them.
