I only occasionally open up Facebook these days, usually for a very specific reason. But invariably I get distracted by something, forget what I came for, and then when I realize this has all played out again, I mutter something about fb/social media being “Satanic.” Appreciating Oliver Burkeman rn.

I’d say “priority” instead of “emergency,” and “evangelists” instead of “missionaries” for the #UnitarianUniversalist context, and anything offered to newcomers should be a gift that can be declined (for the introverts, you see), but otherwise solid advice for living out shared UU values.

Sometimes spiritual practice is kept up with a simple single card pull during the full moon. A good reminder that I have choices available to make that can help me accept my feelings, and act in accordance with my spiritual values rather than my reactive emotions. What is the full moon teaching you?
