i don’t think GenAi necessitates lack of intention. You can have clear intention that can be reflected in the prompt, future prompts to edit, and analyzing generation to see if they fit your generation. It def can remove intention but not a given

No art can have every detail attributed to a human. In that sense digital art would be lesser art since the “detail” of drawing perfect shapes is tasked to a program. If I prompt a system to craft *my* vision then isn’t my mind still behind said vision?

Art is an expression of human stories through a medium. Many AI art critiques wrongly assume there can’t be a human story behind ai but it very well can represents some human intent. Eg. is digital art not art since the artist didn’t physically draw a circle but instructed an app with a button to?
