Finally, saw Barbarian two weeks ago or so, after hearing good things from a bunch of friends. First off, easy 9/10. Totally fucking blew me away- one of the best horror movies I may have ever seen. The first third of the movie was by far the strongest, and scariest, mostly by design, I think. (1/?)

Saw 28 Years Later a couple weeks ago too. Watching this movie with friends is the only way to enjoy this movie honestly. Absurd premise that lacks the build up for any emotional payoff they try to pull off later in the movie. A lot of giant zombie cocks though, that was pretty funny. 3.5/10

Catching up on a few movies I forgot to post from the past month, saw Final Destination Bloodlines w some friends over EVO weekend. Never seen another Final Destination movie but it was a fun watch. Cool effects and visuals and some pretty fucked up kills. Solid 7/10. Kinda sloppa but in a fun way.

Saw Ballerina last night, 7/10 but really fun. John Wick movies are action movie slop at it's finest. The MC girl was cool as hell, lots of silly kills and fight sequences. There is a sequence towards the end of the movie that was so fucking fire, you gotta see it if you liked the earlier movies.

Got around to finally watching Barbie. Hard 8/10 to light 9/10. I actually enjoyed this movie a lot. I had heard good things about it but didn't know what to expect. Funny, emotional, beautifully shot movie about life, gender and the pressures society places on us all.

Would highly recommend.

Saw 12 Angry Men. 7/10. Good acting/direction, and the entire movie takes place in the same room. Proof that if you have compelling dialogue anything can be interesting. Only negative for me was it getting slightly formulaic in how the jurors become convinced in the latter half.

Would recommend.

Watched this a while back but forgot to post about it. 9/10, easy. Probably don't need me to tell you that this movie fucks hard. Creepy, gorgeous and a lil more sexually charged than I had anticipated lol. This movie is steeped heavy in the mythos of vampire type shit and I loved every second.

Put this on the other night while going to bed. Light to medium 7. I love a western and, man, Clint Eastwood just looked really fuckin cool on camera. Decent watch.

Debated even posting this one on the thread but I did watch it recently. 3/10 but relatively inoffensive, 3/10. It's a little too for the girls for me. A lil meh overall.

Also it didn't make sense to me why Violet got back with Kevin at the end of the movie after he was kinda being a dick to her.

Rewatched Dune 2 yesterday. Some cool shots n stuff but I'm too brainrotted to take it seriously. Dave Bautista looked like he snuck his way on to the set the whole movie. Pretty fun even tho it just like a 3 hour version of one of those "white guy orders Chinese in perfect mandarin" videos. 7/10.

Watched Let's Start A Cult. Kind of a lowkey, stupid fun comedy. Stavros Halkias sticks out like a custom character in a cutscene but it's great. The direction was really solid, and every character nailed their delivery. Overall, liked it a lot. Fun watch.

Hard 6 to light 7.

Saw Brainscan. Goofy ass 90s horror with some cool ideas. Cool soundtrack. Bad special fx. Kinda wished they played more with the idea of the lines of reality blurring moreso than "It was all a dream". Also the main character and the love interest are both sick freaks.

Light to medium 5.

Finally got to see Sinners tonight. I'll start by saying 9/10. Incredible movie. The cinematography was great, the acting was great, the characters were great. Lots of interesting themes about life and love and expressing ourselves via art and the commodification of that art. Also it had vampires.

Had something pretty funny happen in OSRS in the last couple of days while at Perilous Moons. Accidentally went like 2.5 times under drop rate for almost the whole collection log.
