Made it home safely from another outstanding #SABR Negro Leagues conference. Great people, great presentations. Louisville is a beautiful city (although a little too hot). Can’t wait until next year!

On the way back to the hotel, visited the Felton Snow marker that SABR dedicated a couple of years ago in Eastern Cemetery also in Louisville.

Attended the dedication of a grave marker for longtime Baltimore Elite Giants second baseman Sammy T. Hughes in Louisville.

Globe Life Field is the 15th MLB park I’ve been to. The man in front of me said it’s his 58th. I asked the guy next to me how many MLB parks he’d been to: “All of them”. Both of these guys have even been to Sacramento earlier this season!

On two separate occasions, I came home to find Stanley had knocked over our Christmas tree. Many ornaments did not survive. But there was one ornament that was made better by the ordeal. I give you, the victorious Grinch displaying the head of his enemy, Cindy Lou Who!
